HENGTONG currently has 109 patents, including 22 invention patents. In addition, the company develops more than five new products every year as a technical reserve or launched into the market. In recent three years, Hengtong has developed smart grids of OPLC, aluminum cables, rated voltage of 0.6/1kV and below ceramic silicone rubber fire-proof power cable, rated voltage of 35kV and below twist resistant soft cable for wind turbine, photovoltaic cable, reel cable, medium voltage twist resistant cable for wind turbine, environmental-friendly anti-termite power cable, LSOH(halogen free) cables for coal mines rubber sheathed  soft cables, special wires and other products. In the new products developed these years, many of them have been rated to have a leading position in China and has an international advanced level. Some of the new products are initiative in China.
